| WELCOME! Thistleworth Welsh Ponies is located in beautiful, historic Bath, North Carolina, founded in 1705. Plum Point, near Bath, was briefly home to the infamous pirate, Blackbeard. Bath also served as inspiration for Edna Ferber's 1925 best selling novel Show Boat. Our herd of champion Welsh Mountain ponies blends beautifully with our historic location. We boast the largest concentration of Liseter-prefixed and Liseter-bred ponies, in addition to other domestic and imported stock from Coed Coch and Revel lines.
